The hot water pipeline is being designed by Teplárny Brno in coordination with the Statutory City of Brno and the South Moravian Region. Expert supervision is guaranteed by ambassadors, leading experts in European legislation, energy, finance, cyber security, and project management, as well as external consultants from the fields of energy, finance, and security management.

He strives to ensure stable heat supply and prices for end customers, including those who will be connected to the new hot water pipeline. He focuses on the modern and efficient use of energy infrastructure, which includes innovation and sustainability.
Chairperson of the Club of Regional Representatives, Mayor of Blansko
As mayor of Blansko, he has pushed through a number of strategic projects for the town, including in particular the bridge, the rebuilding of the square, and the reconstruction of the sports grounds. In the regional deputy's office, he led projects ensuring better transport conditions in South Moravia. He is involved in the coordination of the emerging hot water pipeline, the construction of which is part of the broader energy development of the South Moravian Region.
Mayor of the City of Brno
During her long tenure in the management of the City of Brno, she revived the project for the hot water pipeline from Dukovany to the Moravian capital city. She secured support among politicians on a governmental, regional, and provincial level. Her priorities include energy self-sufficiency and independence for Brno from gas and other fuels. In her office, she primarily supports environmental projects such as greater use of solar energy and biomass boilers.

In the project, he oversees the technical security and overall complexity from a project management perspective. He monitors the development of similar projects abroad and compares specific parameters with the planned hot water pipeline.
Safety Analyst
He focuses on the overall security of the infrastructure in the project. In addition, he also deals with asset and information protection, cyber security, and helps to set security standards and maintain compliance. He creates security risk analyses for the project.
Project Manager and Financial Expert
He is occupied with strategic investments in energy infrastructure. He evaluates the importance of financing from subsidy programmes and European funds, including the return and profitability of the investment. He assesses the project from the perspective of international energy significance.
Member of the European Parliament, EU Legislative Analyst
He deals with the benefits and impacts of the project from a European Union perspective. As a Member of the European Parliament, he addresses the complex issues of the project from the perspective of European legislation. He follows new developments in the field of European energy and the overall development of the EU Energy Concept.
Adviser to the President of the Czech Republic on Energy
He analyses obligations and appropriate parameters in sustainability reporting. He recommends preliminary determination of the reporting method, for example, a specific method of calculating carbon dioxide emission savings. He is occupied with legislation implementing the EE1 principle in the Czech legal system.
Consultant in the fields of construction, energy, electrical engineering, ecology
He focuses on the preparation of contracts. He supervises the selection of contractors for project documentation and the MPV administrator. He supervises the complete technical preparatory parts of the project and its individual phases. He represents the Energetické Třebíčsko association.
Vládní zmocněnec pro klimatickou politiku a Green Deal, člen Rady pro využití výnosů z dražeb povolenek
Jako vládní zmocněnec pro oblast Green Dealu se věnuje koordinaci a komunikaci evropské klimatické agendy ve vztahu k České republice. Ze své pozice podporuje stavbu horkovodu z Dukovan do Brna. Ve funkci se zaměřuje na vyhodnocování dopadů navrhovaných opatření na hospodářství, průmysl a energetiku a na podporu dialogu mezi státní správou, podnikatelským sektorem a dalšími partnery. Je rovněž členem pracovního orgánu vlády, který projednává a schvaluje podmínky pro využití finančních prostředků z prodeje emisních povolenek.
Poslanec Evropského parlamentu za hnutí ANO s dlouholetou praxí v energetice a komunální politice.
Působil na manažerských pozicích v energetickém sektoru v ČR i v zahraničí. V letech 2003-2007 zastával funkci místopředsedy představenstva společnosti Teplárna České Budějovice, kde od roku 2022 působí jako člen dozorčí rady.
V Evropském parlamentu je členem Výboru pro průmysl, výzkum a energetiku (ITRE), Hospodářského a měnového výboru (ECON), Výboru pro zemědělství a rozvoj venkova (AGRI), Podvýboru pro daňové záležitosti (FISC) a Delegace pro vztahy s Kanadou.
Profiluje se především v oblasti energetiky, kde navazuje na své dlouholeté profesní zkušenosti. Ty doplňuje kontinuální působení v komunální politice, které zahájil již V roce 1998 a během nějž zastával funkci náměstka primátora a opakovaně zastupitele města České Budějovice.

Vedoucí oddělení rozvoje nových jaderných zdrojů na Ministerstvu průmyslu a obchodu, kde v současnosti (2026) řídí agendu přípravy a výstavby nových jaderných bloků v České republice. Jako vedoucí oddělení zodpovídá především za podporu a koordinaci projektů výstavby nových jaderných zdrojů v Dukovanech a Temelíně.
Na ministerstvu působí od roku 2021 a zastupuje českou cestu k energetické soběstačnosti na odborných i mezinárodních fórech.
Poslanec Evropského parlamentu za hnutí ANO 2011
V Evropském parlamentu působí od roku 2019 a je členem frakce Patrioti pro Evropu. Energetice a průmyslové politice se systematicky věnuje již od svého působení v komunální politice.
Je členem dvou klíčových výborů zaměřených na energetiku a průmysl — Výboru pro životní prostředí, klima a bezpečnost potravin (ENVI) a Výboru pro průmysl, výzkum a energetiku (ITRE). Dále působí ve Výboru pro rozpočtovou kontrolu (CONT) a Výboru pro veřejné zdraví (SANT).
