Discussions about the hot pipeline from the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant to Brno continue in the public space. Representatives of Teplárny Brno spoke at the Energy Savings for Cities and Municipalities conference in Brno at the Avanti Hotel. The main topics were municipal and community energy, photovoltaics but also emission-free energy.
In particular, Teplárny Brno presented the positive impacts and benefits of the Dukovany nuclear power plant hot pipeline for the city of Brno and the municipalities in whose vicinity the hot pipeline will run. Whether it is the saving of natural gas of 120 million m3 or the reduction of CO2 by up to 230 thousand tons per year. Diversification of resources, sustainability of production, energy self-sufficiency, and climate protection are the main goals that Teplárny Brno wants to achieve thanks to the planned construction of the Dukovany pipeline.
